Antón Pradera (President): “In Dominion’s case, we’ve been in a year of transition because we’re in a year of simplification. We wanted to take a large part of the company’s efforts and focus them on the environmental field, and then also return to our roots in terms of Dominion’s core business of a lifetime. This is the process we’ve been undertaking this year, with a few major divestments, with others that are being worked on and are in progress, and we hope to complete this simplification process by 2025, leaving behind a simpler company, while always maintaining the same spirit and the same way of working we began many years ago.”
In 2024, Dominion operated in a complex geostrategic environment that partially impacted its business. However, the company met the objectives set by the Board of Directors, consolidating significant progress in its Strategic Plan. This plan is based on three key pillars: increasing revenue recurrence, simplifying the structure through divestments, and investing in areas aligned with environmental services. Recurring revenue increased from 57% to 65%, strengthening the business’s resilience in uncertain scenarios. Organic growth stood at 2%, driven by ongoing divestments.
Throughout the year, intensive work has been done on the divestment of renewable assets. In the Dominican Republic, the buyer has been selected, and the contract is being formalised (SPA). In Mexico, the Cerritos asset, which had been paralysed by political factors for two years, has reached 80% production and is expected to be fully operational by summer 2025, at which time it will also be available for sale. In Italy, a strategic partner has been found, and progress is being made in developing the asset’s business. In the areas of simplification and sustainability, Dominion has reorganised its structure into two divisions: Tech-Energy, which brings together traditional activities linked to the digital and energy transition; and Global Dominion Environment, focused on decarbonisation and circular economy solutions, within the framework of the sustainable industrial transition.
