Grupo Baviera is maintaining its growth pace, supported by strong performance in its main markets and the expansion of its clinic network. The company continues to record positive growth in both laser and intraocular surgery, while improved efficiency and cost control are driving EBITDA margins.
In Spain, the group opened three new clinics in Mallorca, Segovia and Lorca, which already account for around 25% of the increase in sales for the period, confirming the positive impact of the expansion strategy.
Italy is also maintaining a favourable trajectory. Baviera opened a new clinic in Milan and has completed work on its Rome centre, due to open in September. Revenue growth continues to be driven mainly by laser surgery. Openings since 2025 account for around a fifth of the increase in sales. In addition, the EBITDA margin has improved by more than two percentage points. Excluding the impact of costs associated with the Rome launch, the country’s EBITDA would have grown by 35%, compared with the 25% recorded.
In the United Kingdom, revenue rose by more than 28% for the first half of 2025, thanks to strong performance in both laser and intraocular surgery. The improvement in activity reduced the negative contribution to EBITDA by more than €1 million, despite higher costs resulting from greater availability of doctors and optometrists. The company is also continuing with its plan to upgrade equipment and refresh the image of its clinics.
Overall, Grupo Baviera continues to advance its growth strategy by expanding its network and strengthening its care offering, while higher activity and operating leverage are gradually helping to improve profitability.
