Peter Kraus joined Berenberg in 2017 as head of small-cap equities. He began his career in 2000, working his way up to become a European small-cap manager for Allianz Global Investors. Kraus has been responsible for several European smaller company portfolios and now runs the Berenberg European Small Cap fund. He runs a concentrated portfolio of quality-growth stocks. The fund has a high active share and long-term investment horizon but its capacity is limited, which underlines its unique status.
