Katharina Raatz began her investment career in the European small-cap team of DWS, where she managed various retail funds and institutional mandates and was deputy portfolio manager of DWS’s largest mid-cap retail fund. In 2017 she joined Berenberg, where she runs the Concentrated Berenberg European Small Cap fund using a quality-growth investment approach. She ensures the fund has a high active share and sets a long-term investment horizon. Her fund is limited in capacity – a unique characteristic – and she has extensive expertise in the smallest companies, which continue to drive her strong track record.
