David is the Fund Manager and founding Partner of Castlebay. He was a fund manager at Ignis Asset Management for 11 years, initially covering Japanese equities before moving to the UK desk in 2002 managing institutional and retail investment mandates. On 15th September 2008 David joined Barclays Wealth where he managed Scottish Charities and the large segregated portfolios until he left to establish Castlebay at the start of 2013

Educational background

David graduated in MA Honours Modern History from the University of St Andrews and also hold an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling.
