Atalaya Mining has announced that the Masa Valverde Project could begin operations in the first half of 2026, starting with the construction of infrastructure. The project, located in the municipalities of Valverde del Camino and Beas, plans to start production by the end of 2028. The planned investment amounts to €174 million, and it is expected to generate more than 150 direct jobs and 600 indirect jobs over its 14-year lifespan. In addition, Atalaya reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable mining, ensuring responsible management across all environmental, social, and safety aspects of the project.
